Lightning Talks für Kurzentschlossene

Wir machen mal wieder alles anders und doch ein wenig wie im letzten Jahr. Vielleicht ist Menschen die Zeit zur Vorbereitung eines Talks zu knapp geworden ist oder Ihr wolltet einfach immer schon mal einen „nur kleinen“ Talk halten: Hier ist unser Angebot.

Alle Wesen sind herzlich willkommen, denn es gibt #nowhere beim #rC3 auf der R3S-Bühne die Möglichkeit kurze Lightningtalks zu halten. Und wie soll das so kurz vor dem Event noch funktionieren? Meldet euch (im Pad) an.

Ihr habt Zeit zu einem der folgenden Zeiträume:

• Session 1: 27.12.2021 - Tag 1: 23:00 - 00:00 Uhr
• Session 2: 28.12.2021 - Tag 2: 23:30 - 00:30 Uhr
• Session 3: 30.12.2021 - Tag 4: 14:30 - 15:30 Uhr

Ihr benötigt ein paar wenige Slides u. a. mit: Titel des Talks, Nick, gewünschte Session, Kontaktmöglichkeit Euer Talk darf maximal 5 Minuten lang sein und muss ohne Videos und/oder Animation mit Ton auskommen. Es wird kein Gesicht gezeigt werden, sondern nur eure Slides. Bitte seid mindestens 20 Minuten vor Beginn auf dem im Pad verlinkten Mumble, damit wir kurz Eure Technik ausprobieren können und den Talk einrichten können. Alles weitere erklären wir Euch dann in diesem Raum.

Mit der Teilnahme erklärst du dich damit einverstanden, dass dein Vortrag unter (mindestens) Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0 lizenziert wird. Du stimmst auch zu, dass dein Vortrag zu diversen Seiten gestreamt und unteranderem auf media.ccc.de veröffentlicht werden kann.

Lightning Talks for last-minute participants

Once again, we’re doing everything differently and yet a little like last year. Perhaps people are running out of time to prepare a talk or you have always wanted to give a “small” talk: Here is our offer.

All beings are welcome to #nowhere at #rC3 on the R3S stage to give short lightning talks. And how is that going to work so close to the event? Sign up (in the pad).

You have time for one of the following sessions:

• Session 1: 27.12.2021 - Day 1: 23:00 - 00:00 hrs.
• Session 2: 28.12.2021 - Day 2: 23:30 - 00:30
• Session 3: 30.12.2021 - Day 4: 14:30 - 15:30

You will need a few slides including: Title of the talk, nickname, desired session, contact details. Your talk must be no longer than 5 minutes and must not include videos and/or animation with sound. No face will be shown, only your slides. Please be at the Mumble linked in the pad at least 20 minutes before the start so that we can briefly try out your technique and set up the talk. We will explain everything else to you in this room.

By participating, you agree that your talk is licensed under (at least) Creative Commons CC-BY 4.0. You also agree that your talk can be streamed on multiple sites and published on media.ccc.de among others.

Did you think that the thrill of sharing your ideas in front of a huge
audience at a C3 was something you’d never experience? Do you work on a
cool project and want to get the word out? Was your talk one of the
hundreds that got rejected? Did you come up with an awesome hack that
you need to share? Go ahead and enter your Lightning Talk now!

The 35C3 Lightning Talks consist of three fast paced sessions which are
perfect for pitching new software or hardware projects, exploits,
creative pranks or strange ideas you need to get out to a global
audience. Even if you don’t have an awesome idea or project to share, a
Lightning Talk is perfect for pitching your Assembly, your workshop or
even a longer talk you’ll give as a self-organized session. Your five
minutes of fame!

Registration is theoretically open until the the day before the last
session (i.e. Dec. 29). However, we only have a limited number of time
slots and assign these on a first-come-first-serve basis. So don’t

Die 35C3 Lightning Talks bestehen aus drei rasanten Sessions und sind
perfekt geeignet für die Vorstellung von Soft- oder Hardwareprojekten,
Exploits, kreativen Streichend oder merkwürdigen Ideen vor einem
weltweites Publikum. Es muss auch keine bahnbrechende Idee oder ein
einzigartiges Projekt sein – auch für die Präsentation von Assemblies,
Workshops oder selbstorganisierten Sessions sind die Lightning Talks das
ideale Format. Deine fünf Minuten des Ruhms!

Die Anmeldung eines Lighting Talks ist theoretisch bis zum 29. Dezember
für den 30. Dezember möglich. Allerdings haben wir nur eine begrenzte
Anzahl Timeslots, die nach dem Prinzip “Wer zuerst kommt mahlt zuerst”

Taking place at 12:45 in Saal 3 on Days 2, 3 and 4, these fast paced sessions are perfect for pitching new software or hardware projects, exploits, creative pranks or strange ideas you need to share with the world.

Lightning talks are also good for getting publicity for your workshop at the 27c3, or for recruiting people to join in on things like a high calorie flash mob.

In order to maximize the available time, registrations will be granted to presenters who submit their graphics (i.e. slides, background picture, contact info, etc.) in advance. Exceptions will be made very selectively on a case-by-case basis. Register soon, as we anticipate the available slots will go quickly. (Proposals started coming in a few minutes after we put up a draft of the wiki page!)
