In diesem Jahr findet das HOA wieder von Dienstag bis Samstag (22.–26.08.2023) statt. Tickets gibt es im Vorverkauf ab sofort auf tickets.hackenopenair.de!
Das Hacken Open Air ist feinstes Hacker-Camping, ausgerichtet vom Stratum 0. Gemeinsam mit euch wollen wir in der Natur tüfteln, diskutieren und kreativ sein.
Die diesjährige Location ist wieder das Pfadfinderheim Welfenhof in Gifhorn, ganz in der Nähe von Braunschweig.

Für eine ruhige Atmosphäre auf dem Platz und eine entspannte Anreise mit den Öffis bieten wir euch einen kleinen Shuttleservice vom Bahnhof sowie Parkplätze in fußläufiger Nähe.
Der Platz verfügt über feste Indoor-Duschen und Toiletten, dazu bauen wir wieder Open-Air-Duschen auf. Zusätzlich bieten wir flächendeckend Strom, DECT, Wi-Fi und Fiber-to-the-Tent an, sodass Ihr und eure Zelte perfekt zum Hacken und Chillen ausgestattet seid. Für Wohnmobil/Camper-Freunde gibt es eine begrenzte Anzahl an zusätzlich zu mietenden Stellplätzen auf dem Platz. Gerne dürft ihr den Platz nach euren Wünschen mit verzieren. Wer Platz für Kunstinstallationen braucht, schreibt bitte an kontakt@hackenopenair.de.
Es wird wieder ein tägliches Frühstücksbuffet und ein Abendessen (vegan und unvegan) geben, die im Ticketpreis inbegriffen sind. Zwischen den Mahlzeiten schmeißen wir die Fritteusen an. Für die Erholung wird es voraussichtlich wieder einen Pool mit Sauna, sowie ein direkt angrenzendes Lagerfeuer geben. Dort könnt ihr den Abend mit Getränken an der Bar ausklingen lassen.
Wie jedes Jahr wird es dabei viele Möglichkeiten für selbstorganisierte Vorträge und Workshops geben. Tragt euch dazu gerne im Wiki ein. Als Workshop und Vortragsort wird es neben dem Hackcenter auch wieder eine Jurte geben. Vor, während und nach dem Event gibt es außerdem einiges zu tun. Als Community-Event freuen wir uns dabei über deine Mithilfe. Die Helferschichten organisieren wir im Elfensystem.

The Hacken Open Air is best hacker camping, hosted by Stratum 0. With you, we want to tinker, discuss and be creative in the middle of nature.

For a peaceful atmosphere on the campsite and a relaxed arrival by train, we offer a small shuttle service from the train station as well as parking spaces nearby.
The campsite has regular indoor showers and toilets, in addition, we will offer open-air showers as well. In addition, we provide area-wide electricity, DECT, Wi-Fi and fiber-to-the-tent, so you and your tents are perfectly equipped for hacking and chilling. For campers, there are a limited number of additional parking tickets on the site. You are more than welcome to decorate the campground however you like. If you need some space for artworks, please contact us at kontakt@hackenopenair.de.
A daily breakfast buffet and a dinner (vegan and non-vegan) is included in the ticket price. Between meals, we will fire up the fryers. For your comfort, we plan to host a pool with a sauna as well as a campfire. There you may enjoy the evening with some drinks from the bar.
As every year, there will be many opportunities for self-organized talks and workshops. You are welcome to contribute, please add your topics to the wiki. In addition to the Hack center, there will a yurt as a workshop and talk location. Moreover, there will be a lot to do before and after the event. As a community event, we eagerly await your help. We will organize volunteer shifts in the Elfensystem.
