Chaostreff Backnang is planning a hacking event from June 2nd to 4th in the Murr metropolis of Backnang, in the heart of Swabia. The guest list includes all tech-savvy hackers who have always wanted to spend an entire weekend at the movies. The further course of the plot depends on the protagonists. There will be the opportunity for free hacking and networking in the hack center. …

As announced earlier, there will be no Congress and no centrally organised rC3 in 2022. This is a challenge that the community was happy to accept. Various groups are organising decentralised events with talks, workshops and other things in the usual Congress season. Parts of these events can be visited in person and other parts can be followed online.

We have prepared an overview of all these events, sorted by (physical) location. This list might be expanded in the coming weeks. All broadcasts will be viewable on media.ccc.de live and as recordings later.

From December 26th to 31st, 2022, the Bündnis Freiräumen will host a forum for free space in a former 6000sqm vacant lot near Munich’s main train station.

First things first: The opening of this year’s #rC3 is happening at 11:00am and will be broadcasted by ChaosWest-TV, FeM and xHain. The same channels will also host the Infrastructure Review on the last day of the event at 6:15pm. Directly followed by the closing, streamed by ChaosWest-TV and FeM.

TL;DR (de) Aufgrund der Vielzahl von Nachfragen zu einer Einreichung kurz nach der Deadline auf den verschiedenen Channels der rC3 2021 wird die Deadline auf Montag, 29. Against all our expectations, wishes and dreams, there won’t be an in-person Congress again this year. But in all likelihood, it won’t be a fully remote Congress either. And it won’t be just a repeat of last year. It’s going to be a new de-centralized (remote) Congress, with local spaces hosting events and distributed stages.

The stages are managed by individual channels. Each channel has its own focus and Call for Participation.

Nach langer Suche haben wir einen Exoplanet mit habitabler Zone entdeckt. Erste Messungen lassen auf eine hohe Viruslast schließen. Eine bemannte Mission ist daher nicht durchführbar.
