Analyse your ISPs routing policy, learn RPSL, take a look at the global BGP routing table, and see what's new about 32-bit AS numbers
Outer Space
This workshop would be enormously helpful for our most beloved Orga team. Afterwards they would be able to understand that 16 showers for 2000 people is definitely not sufficient. They'd be aware that 60 cubic meter of waste water for the same amount of people is rather unlikely too.
Camp Anaconda HOTEL tent
Believe it or not, Hackers on a Plane and Camp Anaconda have a purpose. The US Hacker Foundation is working on building its Hackerspace Action Community in the US and decided to bring almost 40 hackers from the US to show them Europe's more well developed network of Hackerspaces. HF will present the outcomes of the Defcon Prototype Hacker Space and seek input from those who have already built other hackerspaces. Come join us for breakfast as we kick off the global hackerspace movement!
Camp Anaconda Q1 (Headquarters)
Calling all Pirates, plunderers and pillagers! There be booty at this camp! Camp Anaconda sponsors the (probably) first ever CCC camp Scavenger hunt. Get to know the grounds, the people, and your fellow campers while competing for (probably) fabulous prizes! The Quest will commence on Day 1 of the camp. Come pick up the list at the Camp Anaconda Headquarters. The game ends 20:00, Day 4 (Saturday) at Camp Anaconda, where we will judge your booty, tally points, and distribute prizes!

Have you got what it takes? Are you a photoshop wizard? Got a sense of humor? Test your skills against your fellow campers and win fabulous prizes and fame the world renowned! Here's how it works: We give you 8 suggestions for what we think some darn funny pictures might be about. Take these ideas as far as you can, or write in your own. Small prizes for each category, and one big prize for the the best of show! No need to sign up, submit as many as you like! The game ends 20:30, Day 4 (Saturday) at Camp Anaconda.

UPDATE: Time changed!

Can you say Donauadampfschifffahrtskapitänsgesellschaft? Speak the language... we double-dog-dare you! German has some notoriously long words, and difficult pronunciations. Think you Germans can stump the rest of us? Here's how it works: we form two lines, one of germans, and one of non-germans. Germans step up and write a word for the person in the non-german line to pronounce. By audience response, the non-german who gets it wrong is "out". Those who get it right move on to the next round. The last 3 non-germans standing, and the germans who bring the audience's favorite german words receive fabulous prizes!

UPDATE: Time changed!

Think recycling is a pain in the US? The germans take it to a whole new level. Enter this contest on Day 2 (Thursday) right after Pronunciation Nation! (so about 15:30)to see if you have what it takes to take out the trash. Teams compete to identify how a particular type of trash should be disposed of. A panel of German judges award points for speed, accuracy, and style.

UPDATE: Time changed!

Join B9Punk and friends for a hands-on demonstration of how cheapskate American Hackers party in style and on a budget. What is that mysterious orange elixir they drink? Come find out their secrets! Sponsored by ToorCon!

I bought a NintendoDS and a M3DS simply adapter a few weeks ago, and I'll try during this workshop to find out software needed to build and install our Hello DS World. Then we can look for a good DS decompilator, to have a look at commercial software to understand how voice and handwriting recognition may work, as well as WIFI adaptor. At the end we may build an ISO with our findings. Hardware: I'll bring a NintendoDS, a M3DS Simply adapter, a MicroDS and its USB adaptor. Software: Expect a few DS rom

GameDesigners Village Tent (campervan area)
The GameDesigners have kindly allowed me to give a bigger presentation using a beamer. Fijuu2 is best designed as a sound toy (although it is normally presented as an art installation). You play with a game controller and distort shapes and create sound. You can also record your 'performance' making it into a kind of alien musical instrument. Come by and try it out!
Geodesic Dome Village
Playing with a 6 meter geodesic dome tent, a video projector and a spheric mirror: CAVE in a Dome! Music visualization, planetarium, wrap-around wide-screen movies, panoramic webcams and anything else we can come up with.

Gozerbot is a Python IRC and Jabber bot. If you wish to discuss the current development, or have nice ideas for plugins or other development, please stop by.
NOP Village
Joomla CMS is great. I would like to tell you why... I'm a very enthousiast user of Joomla, not a developer or such, and can show beginners how simpel it is to setup and use it for a broad spectrum of usages.

Workshop tent
What we want to do is to build some drones at Chaos Camp 2007. At the last Chaos Congress 2006 Steini from the CCC gave a lecture about drones. And he said that in 2007 the cost for a drone decreases under the 1000 Euro limit.

Hardware Lab
Learn how to make microcontrollers do whatever you want by actually making fun projects at the Camp -- blink lights, hack your brain, move objects, turn off TVs in public places -- microcontrollers can do it all.
Geraffel village
There is a unique Russian experience of learning hacking art in a noble environment, like karate-do Zen schools. How hackers could support such Center in a city? Everything is possible, plus an official hobby-club program for hackers. Consult the Founder of the first School of Hacking art, that was opened in December of 1996.
HyperHeroes Village
How did Superman survive when The Atom Man exposed him to the Kryptonite and passed out?
HyperHeroes Village
How do you build an intergalatic Hacker Community using a paper clip and a chewing gum?
HyperHeroes Village
How do you measure spirits, using only your finger? How does that change with the time when you consume them? We don't know. That's what practical research is for!
HyperHeroes Village or Kindergarten
Please bring many big cardboards and "Rettungsfolien". And plenty of Gaffa/duct tape!!! I would build this with the bigger children of the Kindergarten Village.
HyperHeroes Village
We make tin foil hats using, well, tin foil. Try out different designs. This is not a soldering workshop!

How to establish global democracy
Art&Beauty
Little discussion about bringing security and encryption software to the people out there - Eine Unterhaltung darüber wie Sicherheits- und Verschlüsselungssoftware weiter verbreitet und die Nutzung vereinfacht werden kann - mehr vor Ort.
Web Developer Village
Web development is full of hidden quirks, do's and don'ts, and of course some best practices that have developed over time. I'd like to give you the right start and discuss issues I and you have been stepped over and how to avoid them. This includes HTML, CSS, Javascript on the client side (remember browsers are not the only type of client) and PHP with MySQL on the server side. This should be no lecture (me do the only talking), but more of a discussion and hands-on-working/live demonstration (I have 13 ethernet ports available, bring cables).
Web Developer Village
Wellness Village
Dive into the wonderful world of sound and experience a ride of senses.

Who between the hustle and bustle wants to relax a little bit, is at the right place at the sound experience. Based on the Soundtherapie from Walter Häfner, a soundcarpet is created from high tone rich sounds from Tibetan soundmakers, gongs, cimbals and other instruments, on which one lands in a deep relaxation and harmony.

Wellness Village
What will be thought is a few techniques against tense shoulders, necks etc. and (on request of many women) how to give a foot massage (be sure to have clean feet :) ).

Bring towel, mattress (not too thick or soft).

I have to admit that my hands always turn warm and shaky when I get close to be in need of using a serial connection to a hardware device - my skills are simple not stable enough. So instead of offering a workshop I'm expressing a need for someone to spend half a day, or some hours, helping others with the same lack of skills, as I have myself.

I'll do my best to help, but I can't do it on my own :-)

Wireless:Village
We have some wireless devices hooked to remote-controllable poe-switch, serial-portserver, ....

We also have a thing called "labtool" that we use to reserve devices and store configurations in our "big" routerlab. I'd like to bring both together, which would allow sharing the testbench with remote users (aka "the community") In the end this thing should give you full access to the devices just as if you had one at home.

I bring all the hardware to the camp, afterwards it'll be available via the internet.

I need a) ppl who are interested, especially (wannabe) firmware-devs b) perl/postgres gurus c) if we want jtags: solderers
