This year, CCC hosts the Remote Chaos Experience (rC3).

Ticket sales for rC3 now has started. T-Shirts, Hoodies and Zippers should be ordered until December 6th.

Primarily, rC3 will take place on screens and displays. Various initiatives, hackspaces and living rooms distributed worldwide will create a joint program of streamed talks, online workshops, art and culture. Together, we will experiment with various forms of networked togetherness.

The Remote Chaos Experience (rC3) is about to start and the preparations are running at full speed. Since everything is a little different this year due to the pandemic, we unfortunately cannot rely on a “same procedure as last year”, but have to enter this “Neuland” spontaneously, creatively and sometimes chaotically.

This year, the year-end event of the Chaos Computer Club will take place in the digital space. This poses new challenges for us as Phone Operation Center. But those who know us will already know that a “challenge accepted” is part of good manners.

For some time we have been working on a solution to enable a very large decentralized SIP & DECT telephone network. Our vision:

The Event

This year’s Remote Chaos Experience (rC3) brings together entities from all over the world in digital space. Between Christmas and New Year, we want to try out together what’s possible in cyberspace. We want to talk to each other, exchange ideas and learn from each other. We will talk about hardware, making, science, IT security, politics and whatever else.

This endeavor requires creativity, joy of experimentation and active support.

A face-to-face event with 17,000 people will be neither responsible nor legally feasible this year. But after this tedious and painful 2020, we really deserve a nice finale!
This is why the rC3 – Remote Chaos Experience will be held.
As much as virtually possible, we want to convey the joy, content, togetherness and wonderful madness that make up a Chaos Communication Congress.

das nächste DiVOC steht vor der Tür und eine Neuerung ist, dass es Engel und die Möglichkeit zum Engeln geben wird.

Da das DiVOC ein Online-Event ist, sind ein paar Sachen anders als bei Präsenzevents, die sich kurz so zusammenfassen lassen:

Morgen (22.08.2020) startet die Free and Open Source Software Conference (FrOSCon) als Online-Event. Beginn ist 9:30 9:20 Uhr. An beiden Konferenztagen wird in 4 Streams ein breites Vortragsprogramm gesendet. Die Schwerpunkte in diesem Jahr sind:

Nach langer Suche haben wir einen Exoplanet mit habitabler Zone entdeckt. Erste Messungen lassen auf eine hohe Viruslast schließen. Eine bemannte Mission ist daher nicht durchführbar. Unser erstes Raumschiff ist zur Datenaufnahme unterwegs. Es werden noch weitere Raumschiffe mit Modulen für eine Bodenstation und Erkundungsrobotern folgen. Es eröffnet sich für alle Wesen unseres Planeten gerade die Möglichkeit eine utopische Welt zu gründen. Wir suchen daher noch:
