This year it’s finally time for our camp again - and as we know, camp would not camp be without the talks produced by the Channels (Villages)!

As established by rc3 we want to source content right from the community. That means Villages can either build stages or stage talks outside, right “on the lawn”. Those talks and stages are going to be recorded and published to https://media.ccc.de.

As announced earlier, there will be no Congress and no centrally organised rC3 in 2022. This is a challenge that the community was happy to accept. Various groups are organising decentralised events with talks, workshops and other things in the usual Congress season. Parts of these events can be visited in person and other parts can be followed online.

From December 26th to 31st, 2022, the Bündnis Freiräumen will host a forum for free space in a former 6000sqm vacant lot near Munich’s main train station.

The CCC sees no other option than to cancel the Chaos Communication Congress again this year. Instead, we call on local groups for decentralized and independent alternative events. The Chaos Communication Camp will take place in Mildenberg near Berlin, Germany from August 15 to 19, 2023.

None of us know what the pandemic situation will be in December – but it is foreseeable that strict hygiene requirements will be necessary and in all likelihood mandatory – if an event of the size of the Congress can be approved at all.
