On Saturday, 21st of March we’ll visit the camp site to have a first look and exchange ideas and plans.

Please come and join us if you plan to be part of a village or project that has special needs, e.g. regarding place and infrastructure. Also feel invited if you are part of a team and/or if you are willing to spend a good amount of your time to support us organizing the camp. If you plan to do anything special (like a really big tent or another temporary structure), where getting a feel for the site would make things easier, please feel free to sign-up for the visit!

Der Datengarten 47 dreht sich rund um das Thema 3D Druck. Wir geben Euch eine kurze Übersicht über aktuelle Druckverfahren und was davon erschwinglich ist. Wir sprechen über Anwendungsgebiete und wie der 3D-Druck unsere Zukunft verändern wird. Außerdem werden wir nebenbei den kompletten Arbeitsablauf vom 3D-Model bis zum fertigen Ausdruck demonstrieren.

Wir riefen vor einigen Tagen zu Einreichungen für den easterhegg 2015 auf. Die Deadline war knapp bemessen, aber an Deadlines soll es nicht mangeln und so heißt es:

We don’t kEHr!” Wir verschieben die Deadline auf den 28.02.2015 (Prickle-Prickle, the 59th of Chaos, 3181) 23:59:59 UTC und geben somit allen, die können wollen würden, die Zeit sich zu entschließen und die Welt mit ihrem Wissen zu erheitern und zu bereichern.

After more than three thousand guests at the last Camp in 2011, we expect many outdoor enthusiasts, who like to hack during the day and marvel at the light displays at night and will celebrate the ultimate party in the middle of the festival season with us. EH15 – Easterhegg 2015

Die Veranstalter des diesjährigen Easterhegg (Stratum0 und Netz39) haben die Ehre zur Mitgestaltung desselben aufzurufen.

ein Künstler hat in der Anti-Terror-Lounge beim 31C3 eines seiner Bilder stehenlassen, was dann leider fälschlicherweise beim Abbau an zwei Helfer verschenkt wurde. Er hätte das aber sehr gern zurück. Wir bitten die kunstbeflissenen Helfer, sich bei uns zu melden unter epass(at)ccc.de (Paßnummer optional).

In the past the CCC has decided to not run its own YouTube account as we didn’t want to advertise this service. Despite the growing success and continual improvements to media.ccc.de as a streaming platform, people still want to watch CCC talks on YouTube. Unfortunately, many YouTube accounts have shown up which claim to be official CCC accounts. We ignored this for a long time as it was a nice service for the viewer and hey – it’s CC-BY content. However there are some problems with these accounts which we will address later.
