The 39C3 sparkles with nerdy chic

Earlier than ever before, the design team is giving us the opportunity to adorn flags, circuit boards, sunglasses, and websites with the hot Congress partner look. To this end, the two designers of 39C3, Nina Bender and Bernd Volmer, have lovingly crafted a design guide with a matching font that should spur our creativity and enable many playful and nerdy interpretations.

We have been provided with a professionally designed variable font to play with. Using only a few cleverly placed lines of CSS as in the examples here, blinking lights at the glyph level is trivially implemented. The design language gives us the freedom to position ourselves anywhere on the continuum between the tipping points in global power cycles between the light side and the dark side.
