The MetaRheinMain ChaosDays is an annual congress, this year with a focus on journalism, society and technology, organized by c3f2m Frankfurt, CCCmz (Mainz/Wiesbaden), the campus group Chaos Darmstadt, the AK Vorrat and other regional groups in the Rhein-Main-Neckar area. The MRMCD will take place from September 5th to 7th at the Technische Universität Darmstadt.

We are interested in talks and workshops that are interest to the general public, as well as talks about special topics. By this means it is assured that the talks are of general interests and also related to the scientific community. The events focuses on the following topics:

  • Journalism
  • Society
  • Technology

This includes, but is not limited to: voting machines, surveillance, cryptography, IT security, biometrics, data retention, electronic health care, evolution of technology and its impact on society, nerd culture, project management and self-organization.
