We proudly present: … the Fahrplan 0.23!

After some more shuffling the schedule is out.

There are gaps in the Fahrplan as we have to sort out last issues with some speakers. Be assured that we have more than enough talks to fill them. You can find lots of interesting stuff in the Fahrplan at this stage anyway – from surveillance (1, 2, 3), the nanoscale, to attacking GSM and other security issues (1, 2, 3). More to come.

We had lots of interesting submissions to choose from. Many thanks to all the people who want to share their experiences, knowledge and opinions. The camp would be very different without you as we would have a much harder time to find somebody to pester with questions and to discuss about our dearest topics.

Selecting the talks we think are the most interesting is one thing, bringing them in a sensible order another. Here some of the policies we tried to follow: (1) every talk at a time the speaker is available. (2) at least one talk in English at every time. (3) no two talks of the same speaker one after the other. (4) talks we think the press should cover at the first day. (5) talks which directly build on each other in the correct order one after another. (6) talks that require lots of thinking of the audience at daytime. (7) talks that probably draw lots of audience at the same time. (8) no two talks with similar audience at the same time. (9) talks with similar audience one after another. (10) talks that can be followed with a can of beer in the hand in the late evening.

Many thanks again to the content team and of course to the Pentabarf and its developers who make this kind of conference planning possible.

A last note: If you submitted a talk and didn’t hear from us until now please write again.
