Entrance
The Entrance is the area where tickets will be sold and checked. We will need help by a considerable number of volunteers (angels), too, especially on Dec. 26th and Dec. 27th. If you want to volunteer, read the instructions for volunteers.
Information Desk
The Information Desk is located at level B.
Hackcenter
The Hackcenter is located in the basement (level A) and a big area at the Congress. Take a seat, open your laptop and start hacking. Or have a look what the other people here are doing - most of them like to talk about it, too.
NOC Help Desk
The Noc Help Desk is located in the Hackcenter next to the elevator and on level C next to the POC.
In case of any network emergency, network outage or question, contact the NOC Help Desk! The help desk geeks have the tools and knowledge to help you with everything network-related, and they act as the one and only proxy to the NOC, so they are the first who know what is going on if there is any trouble.
Network
Unfettered high-speed Internet access at 27C3 is available via both wired and wireless networks. Please look onto the Network-Page to know about the terms and conditions the NOC-Team reserves when you use the network.
CERT
The C.E.R.T., Chaos Emergency Response Team, is the medical and fire response team of the Chaos Computer Club (CCC) and is located at level B. As the events of the CCC become larger and larger (with the last congress attracting about 3000 visitors), a first response team became necessary. The first idea was to create this team with members of the CCC. Since 1997 Fox (aka SaniFox) had been doing this alone, but because of the increasing number of medical emergencies, he decided in 2001 to do this with a small team. At the 19C3, the C.E.R.T. was born.
Our main task is acting as the first response to medical emergencies. In addition to that we also do fire prevention, such as making sure that the emergency exits and escape routes are not blocked.
POC
POC - The Phone Operation Center (powered by Eventphone) will be present at the 27C3 this year again with a mobile DECT system and phone infrastucture. The Phone Operation Center is located at level C.
DVB-T
DVB-T - All lectures will be broadcast on DVB-T channel 22 (482 MHz). Please take a look at the DVB-T page to find out what you need to watch the streams when lecutre rooms are stuffed and WLAN is too slow for video.
Speaker's room
The Speaker's room is located at Level B and dedicated to the Speakers to grab something to eat, prepare lectures, print something or just to hang out in a quiet environment.

Service hours: Day 1 to day 4 starting at 10am (10h) to 8pm (20h)
Day care will be for children till a age of 14.
