Participate
There are many ways to participate at 27C3.
Contents |
become a Volunteer
Like each chaotic event the 27C3 will not be possible without the help of many volunteers. You can be one of them. Lots of volunteer work needs to be done before, during and after the event. Volunteering is actually a lot of fun. You will work with other people who share your interests, learn a whole lot in the process and really take part in the event.
make a Project
If you're a group or work on some project on 27C3, you're encouraged to tell others about your presence and what you're doing.
So, if you like, create a page containing information about you and your project. There's a category named Category:Projects in this wiki. Your project will be listed in this category, once you include a link to it on your page. Simply add [:Category:Projects:] to your project page.
do a Lightning Talk
Lightning Talks are 4-minute talks by various people combined in a set of 10 talks in one hour. You can present a strange idea, your nifty program, a cool project, some hardware you like - or whatever.
These talks can definitely be used to talk about the booth you are maintaining or the workshop you will be giving.
spread the word!
Tell others about this event! Link it on your website, blog about it or follow us on Twitter. Banners, Wallpapers and other art can be found at the Propaganda page.
If you plan to write about the Congress please add your site to the News_Items page.
spread Peace Missions
If you can't come to Berlin for whatever reason, share your 27C3 experience with fellow hackers from your vicinity. Get together and plan your Peace Mission distributed conference node here.
