Tech-coops are a growing movement of worker-owned cooperatives that operate in the information technology industry (more information). We want to find new ways of working and making a living, based on solidarity. Some tech-coops also see themselves as part of broader political and social movements.
Tech-coops could be a solution if you feel alienated by big software corporations and startup culture or you feel alone and in search of solidarity as a freelancer.
This assembly wants to create a space for everyone that is interested in tech-coops or may even already be part of one! It is is organized by germany-based IT-Kollektiv but is (very!) open for participation of other individuals and grouplets.
