Why can i buy a car for 50k€ that is pretty high class but not a rocket that can reach orbit?! Technically they are on the same level. A ton of (lightweight)metal, similar pressure and temperature in combustion camber, similar alloys used, etc. I would even say a car is more complex.
Copenhagen Suborbitals is making good progress, but its still suborbital. I want to propose a liquid rocket concept that is ultra lowtec and lowcost, discuss it and gather intelligence to make it reality.
