TOTA📡🚽
Description | 📡🚽 After the success of the last TOTA at the 32c3, we are motivated to reiterate the famous TOTA radio activity. TOTA is the acronym for "Toilets on the Air" and tries to encourage ham radio operation from the various toilets in the CCH. It will help us to train operation and you even might to get an entertaining pile-up. QRG 430.200 MHz. Stay tuned for more information. |

TOTA has been carefully designed to make participation possible for everyone - this is not just for toilet users! There are awards for activators (those who use the toilet) and chasers (who either operate from home, a local hilltop or are even Activators on other toilets).
TOTA is now fully operational in many Toilets across the CCH. Certificates are available for various scores, leading to the prestigious "Golden Shit" and "Work am All" trophies. An Honour Roll for Activators and Chasers is maintained at this wikipage.
TOTA is designed to be compatible with other toilet users. Please see our environmental statement for details.

Non Ham Radio licenced
In Germany you can do ham radio under instruction of a licenced operator who has a training callsign (Ausbildungsrufzeichen). Go to the Chaoswelle Assembly and ask for an introduction.

During the congress you can directly log your QSOs to totawatch.org. So we can cross-check the logs and generate some nice graphs.
