The "wire" will be a 18mm copper tube and it's supposed to "hover", hence the name "Schwebedraht" (en: hover wire). Since it's going to be wireless (well, the handset part) it's a pretty complex game consisting of a bunch of electronics, raspberry pi, projector and sound system. It needs to be at least "mostly children-proof". Wee need people who are willing to help (especially during build up).
