SHADOWRUN is a science fantasy tabletop role-playing game set in a near-future fictional universe in which cybernetics, magic and fantasy creatures co-exist. It combines genres of cyberpunk, urban fantasy and crime, with occasional elements of conspiracy fiction, horror and detective fiction. From its inception in 1989, Shadowrun has remained among the most popular role-playing games. It has spawned a vast franchise that includes a series of novels, a collectible card game, two miniature-based tabletop wargames, and multiple video games.
If you never have played Shadowrun before, please show up 30 minutes before the session starts to get a short introduction into the setting and rules.
Pre-build characters will be provided. If you want to use your own character, please contact us in advance and we'll see what we can do.
The same scenario will be played in all sessions.
How to participate
If you want to participate in a session, first check in the session subtitle if there are free slots available. If so, contact SnakeBDD (contact information at Tomorrowland - Gaming utopia dystopia) and answer these questions shortly:
- In which session do you want to participate?
- Do you speak German, English or both?
- What is your handle? (You will be asked about your handle to proof that you are the one who signed up for the session)
If there are no more player slots available, you can show up 30 minutes in advance to the session, participate in the introduction and then, at the scheduled start of the session, may be able to fill in for a no-show.
We are planning an additional session in the morning of day 4, but the session type will be decided based on the demand on the first three days of congress. So check back to see if there will be an addition Shadowrun session.
