What is this?
We're a group of notorious music lovers playing and mixing some tunes for you in hall 4. During the congress every day & night there are plans to make nice'n'squeezy DJ sets, chill-out sessions or little workshops.
But please don't expect too much: We're neither professional musicians nor experienced DJs. Nonetheless, our sessions could be a good start into the night. ;-)
This is the Chaos West Klangteppich proudly presented by the wild west of the German hackerspaces.
Call for mixes!
Your music skills are deeply desired! To fill up our timetable we're happy to host you. If you're a passionate DJ who wants to play one or more sets please join us! Just let us know, who you are, what you'd like to play, when your session should start and the estimated duration of your session. We encourage you to bring your own devices (BYOD). Of course, more than one session is possible. It won't matter if you like to use professional equipment or just your laptop.
Your planned sessions depend only on your creativity. Like everyone of us you should only play those genres you like the most. This could be any kind of electronic dance music, pop, rock or even 8bit gorilla x-mas songs. Or let the crowd decide what to play. Surprise us! Everyone will get a chance to make others happy with the most expressive and world-wide understandable language: music.

We have a lounge in hall 4, a very nice PA with monitoring and a mixer. Maybe the best about hall 4 is that everywhere around at any time there are happy hackers who want to listen to your music!

Es gelten selbstverständlich die allgemein gültigen Verhaltensregeln des Kongresses. Hier gibt es einige Hinweise: Safety and Security
- Es gibt eine organisierte "Open Klinke". Du darfst gerne Deine Geräte anschließen – nach kurzer Rücksprache.
- Musik wird bevorzugt in den Abendstunden und frühen Nachtstunden gespielt.
- Vermeide Lärmbelästigung und sprich Dich mit anderen ab, die sich potenziell von dem, was Du tust, gestört fühlen könnten!
- Halte gängige Ruhezeiten ein!
- Strom ist ein hohes Gut. Gehe sparsam damit um!
- Gehe sorgsam mit dem vorhandenen Equipment um! Lass es nicht unachtsam rumstehen!
- Frage den Besitzer/Organisator von Equipment, bevor Du es nutzt!
- Das Equipment wird bei Nicht-Benutzung sicher verstaut (oder es wird der Stecker gezogen), um unachtsame Verpeilung zu vermeiden.
- Keine Flüssigkeiten/Getränke am DJ-Pult
- Nimm Müll und Pfandflaschen wieder mit!
