Mithro is interested in developing FOSS code for FPGAs and is doing so with his hdmi2usb.tv project (part of TimVideos). He has brought a whole bunch of FPGA boards to the camp and wants to get people hacking on them! Come to this informal session if you are interested in FPGA at all.
Beginners welcome. Experts welcome.
FPGAs use very large toolchains, try and download them before hand but I will have a USB stick with them. Xilinix ISE WebPack or Vivado WebPack for Xilinx boards or Quartus II Web Edition for Altera boards.
