Description TimVideos.us is a group of exciting projects which together create a system for doing both recording and live event streaming for conferences, meetings, user groups and other presentations.

At CCCamp15 we hope to concentrate on our HDMI2USB project, which aims to create fully open capture hardware for conference and user group recording. Our current boards are based around a Spartan 6 FPGA, making hardware problems software!

We'll also be collaborating on Voctomix with the C3VOC team and looking at using the Rad1o to capture from wireless microphones.

TimVideos.us is a group of exciting projects which together create a system for doing both recording and live event streaming for conferences, meetings, user groups and other presentations.

We hope that, through our projects, the costs and expertise currently required to produce live streaming events will be reduced to near zero. We wish to develop a system where everyone has the ability to record presentations and host live remote participants across the globe.

Whether you want to work hands-on with hardware or code in a variety of languages, we have a project for you. Join the team!

HDMI2USB is a device to capture HDMI and DVI (and Displayport with cheap active adapters) and send it on USB port as UVC video. The device attaches computer as a standard webcam so there is no need of installing additional drivers.

More information about the device can be found in the wiki @ http://hdmi2usb.tv

We are currently developing our own hardware (the Numato Opsis), and also provide firmware for various prototyping boards. The first open hardware for the HDMI2USB will soon be available to purchase, sign up to be notified.

The following capture hardware will be around to play with;
