Z-Wave Hacking Contest

Based on ITU-T G.9959 paper (PHY and MAC of Z-Wave protocol) and some general (publicly available) information on Z-Wave upper protocol layer, as well as many devices to listen the ether.

The goal is to control in direct range a Z-Wave plug and get sensors values using your Rad1o badge. The code should work with 9.6kpbs, 40kbps and 100kbps Z-Wave channels.

First three persons who will push a unique working code on github under GNU GPL compatible license, will get an award: batch of Z-Wave devices: a plugs, few sensors, a USB dongle and a prototyping board.
