The Chaos Communication Camp takes place at the

Ziegeleipark Mildenberg Zehdenick
Ziegelei 10
16792 Zehdenick (OT Mildenberg)
53° 01' 48" N, 13° 18' 27" E

(OpenStreetMap, Google Maps)

We will organize the basic infrastructure like power, internet, a bar, several food stalls, and beautiful illumination. Everything else is in your hands - so bring your camping gear, gadgets, Go boards, webapps, p2p-simulators, knitted hardware protectors, drones, lockpicking sets and whatever else you need for some days in the big room with the blue ceiling.
Respect Ziegelei Property and Equipment, remember we may come back here next time. There is also a collection of several points of interest, aka infra/resources/shopping.

See also the Map.

The nearby town Zehdenick provides infrastructure like several ATM, Gas Stations, supermarkets and a rather big Hardware Store (read: Hardware as in wood, nails and camping equiment, not as in motherboard).

Gransee Transit

There are shuttles from Gransee Trainstation to CCC Camp.

Find the bus schedule here: http://bassliner.org/en/ccc/

By Airplane

Berlin Schönefeld (SXF)

  • Take the train to Berlin Südkreuz or Berlin main station and from there the train to Gransee.

Berlin Tegel (TXL)

  • The easiest way is to take the Bus TXL to Washingtonplatz/Berlin Hauptbahnhof and from there the train to Gransee.
  • The bus departs every 10 minutes in front of Terminal B. You should calculate with a buffer of 15 minutes between bus arrival and train departure.

Airport Berlin Brandenburg (BER)

  • Sorry, net yet complete. Maybe it gets finished in time for the camp. Or, maybe not.

By Bike

Long distance cycling routes The Ziegeleipark is situated next to the Berlin—Kopenhagen long-distance cycling route which is also part of the D11 and the EuroVelo 7 cycling route.

From Berlin The Ziegeleipark is roughly 92 km on the Berlin—Kopenhagen route from Alexanderplatz.

On Wednesday 12th at 9:00 in the morning we will start as a group of bikers riding the Berlin—Kopenhagen route from Alexanderplatz (Weltzeituhr) to camp. Those who do not wish to cicle the full 92 km can take the train with their bike to S-Bahnhof Oranienburg where we will meet at 14:15. From there it is only 43 km.

  • We will pedal rather slow (probably 15 to 25 km/h). This is a joy ride, not a race. The slowest rider defines our speed. No-one will be left behind.
  • We will make a big pause in Oranienburg. The pause ends when we pick up the people who took the train around 14:15.
  • We expect to arrive at the latest around 18:00 but very likely much earlier. Probably around 17:00.
  • Some of us want to make a stop at the supermarket in Zehdenick, the last city before the camp. You do not have to stop and shop there, but it saves you from pedalling with a lot of extra weight.
  • If you are taking the train, the one-way train ride with a bike from anywhere in Berlin to Oranienburg costs 5,70 Euro. You’ll need an Einzelfahrausweis Berlin ABC and an Einzelfahrausweis Fahrrad Berlin ABC for your bike. The best connection from Alexanderplatz is the U8 at 13:27 direction Wittenau arriving at 13:35 in Gesundbrunnen and from there at 13:50 at Track 10 the RE5 direction Stralsund arriving at 14:09 in Oranienburg.
  • It is a good idea to have a banana or three in your luggage. Just in case you get hungry. The same goes for a bottle of water.
  • Nicolai will carry a pump (for all ventiles) and a repair kit for bike tires. If your wheel is fixed with something other than a size 15 wrench, you should bring that with you.
