Frauen* haben zur Entwicklung von Computern viel beigetragen, doch die Anerkennung für ihre wissenschaftlichen Leistungen spiegelt das selten wider. Fehlende Sichtbarkeit von großartigen Frauen führt auch dazu, dass IT eher als Männerthema wahrgenommen wird. Auf dem letzten Congress gab es viele großartige Memorials für bemerkenswerte Frauen aus dem MINT-Bereich. Und wie geht es nun weiter? Auf dem 36C3 wollen wir noch mehr Memorials haben. Bitte tragt alle Memorials in die Liste unten ein! '* Leider umfasst unsere bisherige Liste keine nichtbinären Menschen. Über eine Erweiterung würden wir uns freuen!

Women* have contributed a lot to the development of electronics and computer science, but have received little recognition for their scientific achievements. This lack of visibility for remarkable women in tech leads to the misperception that computing is a domain of men. It is not. At the last congress, many of you helped reduce this visibility gap by creating memorials for notable women in science and engineering. We are currently in the process of documenting last year’s memorials and are looking for more photos.

This year, we want to do it again. Bigger, better, more publicity and even more memorials! We need your help! Please add your memorial to the list below.

  • Sadly there are no nonbinary persons on our list of honorable women. We would be glad about input!
