| Description | Non-governmental organizations such as Greenpeace, Amnesty International or Peta utilize more or less legal forms of activism for informing the public, influencing policy-makers and gaining visibility. However, NGOs' digital activism, or e-activism, is still in its infancy. In this talk we present examples of e-activism and discuss their risk, impact and techniques. In the second half of the talk the audience is invited to brainstorm and/or propose novel concepts. |
