Description | The RIAT assembly is continuing the tradition of last year's RIAT Crypto Lab ( https://events.ccc.de/congress/2016/wiki/Assembly:RIAT_Crypto_Lab ) and provides a space and forum for critical discourse and practice-based workshops on social implications of crypto/blockchain.
we have been planning with bitcoin and monero assemblies to do a larger combined space where we host and organise multiple workshops, talks, discussions and hands-on practice. The detailed program will be planned and organised throughout december in vienna at the riat space. |

RIAT is an independent research institute and space in Vienna, Austria. RIAT is run by researchers, developers and post-media artists who facilitate an open discourse about cryptography and decentralised technology and their implications on society. Our assembly also brings together Open Hardware enthusiasts as well as artists/researchers to plan and work on current and future projects of the institute and of the larger network.
