We made a pledge at http://neveragain.tech for technologists to publicly resist Trump's call to build a registry of Muslims and target millions of immigrants for deportation. Over 2,800 people have signed the Never Again pledge and committed never to help the US government with unethical targeting using personal data. The pledge received broad media coverage, including a mention in the New York Times article that reported on the end of the NSEERS program. More details in Wikipedia.

Let me tell you about what we did, and perhaps inspire you with the idea that a simple action can make a difference in these challenging times.
