|Description|| Classic Configuration Management systems are not able to deliver their promise of abstracting infrastructure as code with operating system independence and reproducible & consistent application of changes. This talk outlines problems of current approaches and highlights one new technology in the Configuration Management field, the purely functional Nix package manager and its use in the declarative & reproducible Linux Distribution NixOS.
