Hackbases are similar to hackerspaces but people also live in them.

Plan of the introduction:

1. Maxigas puts hackbases in a historical perspective (hacker hangouts, hacklabs, hackerspaces, ... hackbases?).

2. David presents the CHT hackbase (http://totalism.org, Lanzarote, Canary Islands) entering Season 5, and some old, new and future work on basic building blocks for hackbases, seen as infrastructure for new hacker lifestyles. This includes plans to buy land in Lanzarote desert, and a sketch of a hacker cooperative.

3. Hellekin talks about the idea of the hackerspaces grant program.
