Monitoring or electronic tagging is used in dementia care and justified with risks of falling or getting lost of people with dementia. During the congress I want to discuss the questions: "Can we balance risks vs. rights?" "What issues should be considered before monitoring technology is put in place?" "What can people living with dementia do to avoid such measures?"
