Description | Selfnet e.V. is a non-profit student association supplying students with a broadband network in the dormitories of Stuttgart. Our aim is to offer a platform to pursue interests in communication technology and to discuss the latest developments.
To provide this we operate a powerful network for the dormitories of Stuttgart. This usually involves a variety of tasks. These range from network engineering, keeping servers running to organisational tasks of the club like membership administration. |

Selfnet always tries to use and promote free and open technologies and standards. On (https://www.ohloh.net/stacks/105092) we compiled a list of projects that are currently in use by Selfnet. In addition to that every active member is committed to use open standards for projects of the club.
