Description	Selfnet e.V. is a non-profit student association supplying students with a broadband network in the dormitories of Stuttgart. Our aim is to offer a platform to pursue interests in communication technology and to discuss the latest developments. To provide this we operate a powerful network for the dormitories of Stuttgart. This usually involves a variety of tasks. These range from network engineering, keeping servers running to organisational tasks of the club like membership administration.

Selfnet always tries to use and promote free and open technologies and standards. On (https://www.ohloh.net/stacks/105092) we compiled a list of projects that are currently in use by Selfnet. In addition to that every active member is committed to use open standards for projects of the club.
