Censorship is now widespread with content filtering systems being commonplace on residential Internet connections even in western countries. Censorship is no longer something that can be ignored when performing Internet engineering experiments. It's important to ensure that you're really measuring the networks and systems you think you are and not just the filtering system of the ISP you're connected to.
