A2600
Website | |
---|---|
Description | A2600 is a small project run by 9 people who love their old Atari 2600 and think a cheap open source version of it would kick ass. Thats is why we want to meet at the 31C3 and continue our project of building an Atari 2600 clone based on a lightly modified uzebox.
This year we co-host an homematic homebrew developer event. Both projects are related to hardware and firmware hacking and, therefore, should generate some synergies. |

what is this all about
A2600 is a small project run by 9 people who love their old Atari 2600 and think a cheap open source version of it would kick ass. Thats is why we want to meet at the 31C3 and continue our project of building an Atari 2600 clone based on a lightly modified uzebox(http://belogic.com/uzebox/).
Like last year we do some hacking on homematic Customfirmware (https://github.com/jabdoa2/Asksin_HM_LC_Sw1PBU_FM) and BidCos bootloaders (https://github.com/jabdoa2/Asksin_OTA_Bootloader). However, this year some more people will join us for this purpose.

why clone an Atari 2600?
beacuse we are just doing it for fun and there is no console that is more fun than an Atari 2600 and the real Atari 2600 hardware is starting to get rare
what we need
3 tables / 1 big table 9 chairs Network/Uplink power
