Citizens 16
Needs network 3) more than normal Villages describe network needs we're bringing a server so would like a fast copper port nearby.

we might want to host some HAM related wired and wireless projects as well.

Needs power 2) Village with up to 30 citizens (16A CEE 400V)
Power comment Normal power requirements for 15 to 20 people (adapters, chargers, etc)

As well as some Servers, a fridge, HAM equipment, soldering stations, audio and lighting equipment.

Village plans ... bring light installations, ... build up a big tent, ... install a fridge or a freezer, ... have any other unusual installations, ... run a kitchen for our citizens, ... run a bar for our citizens
Village constraints We do not make party but will make some noise., We will provide space to hang out for other camp participants on our village, We like to be placed on a central location where many people are crossing, We like to be placed on a non-central spot where less people are coming by, We would like to have trees on our village area, We do not like to be filmed or photographed, We do not like to be visited by representitives of the press, so a non-central location would be better, We like to show the stuff we do
Village comments plans We have one refrigerator for storing food for cooking. We will be able to provide food for people outside of our village. (if they register and pay in our village before we start cooking)

Bar is nothing fancy, drinks for our village and anybody that wants to pitch in.

Over all power consumption should not be anything too fancy, as we probably won't bring big file servers / computer clusters like previous events.

Most HAM and visual stuff will be low power. No industrial strength refrigerator or airco's. Normally sized audio equipment nothing fancy around 100 - 200 watt's amp.

Just normal home refrigerator for cooking and some cold beers.

Planning notes If there are (old) couches available we would be interested in those to provide our village and visitors a nice place to hang out while visiting our village.

We will come with an army tent (5x10m). Preferably have some space around the village as well for sleepings tents for individuals and family tents.

We come with a core group of friends from the hackerspace, few kids included, will probably try to do a few projects on site. Provide some services for friendly people like Food, a space to chill out and more. We are open to anybody sharing our ethos to join us during camp. So the exact size of the village and activities might vary.

  • 2 x 16A/230v CEE to shuko, 10M cable <- r3boot
  • 16A/380v CEE to 32A/380v CEE converter cable <- r3boot
