In this workshop, we will go step by step through the process of setting up your own GSM network, including
- git checkout and compilation of OpenBSC and its dependencies (libosmo*)
- understand the individual software components
- configuration of the OpenBSC and the BTS side
- working with the OpenBSC VTY
- working with the OpenBSC logging system
- registering phones, interpreting traces (logs, wireshark)
