We will do a brief introduction to DVB signals and I will explain how can we transmit our own signal using open source tools.
You can / sould bring your own laptop, rad1o/hackrf and DVB dongle (for receiving the broadcast, not for SDR use) if you want to try things in-situ. Also, be advised that the default antena of the rad1o is only for 2.4Ghz and won't perform properly on the frequencies we will use. An antenna mod is recommended.
You shuld have the gnuradio stack installed and working with these modules installed or at least cloned from git:
