Sushi is a japanese dish. Often it is made with rice, seaweed and fish. It can be also made with vegetables, egg and tofu. Most well known sushi is in form of sliced roll wrapped in seaweed. The dish can also take other shapes like uramaki, the reverse roll (rice outside, seaweed inside), temaki cones, chirashi (sushi in a bowl) and pressed sushi.

This workshop will be a hands-on lesson starting with preparing the ingredients, using the tools and preparing different shapes of sushi. Come to learn how to do sushi at home with your favourite ingredients! The workshop is donation based, no one turned away for lack of funds.
