Eventphone reference missing
"a DECT / GAP compatible phone which can be registered with eventphone ( see compatibility list)"
I could not find a link to eventphone or the compatibility list. Would be nice if somebody could add them. :)
It is most probably this one: http://www.eventphone.de/ and here the compatibility list: https://www.eventphone.de/wiki/index.php/DECT_Phone_Compatibility_List
(Pls someone confirm.)
The Profoon phones sold at WTH 2005 and others have issues, when they are moved between base stations. Double check the compatibility list before a purchase.--Fenkt 19:03, 21 July 2011 (CEST)
Additionally: Do I need to register with eventphone beforehand?
There is a terminal for registration at the PoC tent. For faster checkout, it does make sense to register an extension beforehand. --Fenkt 19:03, 21 July 2011 (CEST)
Ok, ok, i did rework that section a bit and added links. Can you check that it's ok now? Cavac 19:51, 22 July 2011 (CEST)
Looks ok.--Fenkt 20:46, 22 July 2011 (CEST)
Power outlets & Voltages
I added Wikipedia-Links to the available power outlet standards. Could someone with detailed knowledge about the subject check and clarify these? Personally i'm more the "if the plug doesn't fit, use a bigger hammer" type... Cavac 19:54, 22 July 2011 (CEST)
Looks ok; is there a need to add a note that the voltage is 240V?--Fenkt 20:49, 22 July 2011 (CEST)
I think so. Many countries (like the USA, where we get "Hackers on a plane" from) has different voltages and frequencies. While most laptops should be ok, other hardware like electric shavers, soldering irons, ... might not. Cavac 02:22, 24 July 2011 (CEST)
Oops, there already is a "220 to 240 Volts at 50 Hertz Type F (CEE 7/4 "Schuko")" note on that page. My fault.--Fenkt 03:04, 24 July 2011 (CEST)
Flying Saucers
Could someone please clarify the "rules for flying objects"? Is there a ceiling height or min distance from runway or something?--AlexDD 09:46, 27 July 2011 (CEST)
I copied the rules from the 2007 wiki. See Airspace control. This still needs some major updating from someone with actual knowledge about the subject. Cavac 01:34, 30 July 2011 (CEST)
Bringing EUR Cash for spending on camp site
Might be worth while to list this, as not everybody is yet using EUR... AlexiaDeath 09:35, 5 August 2011 (CEST)
Thanks for the tipp. Done. Cavac 02:16, 6 August 2011 (CEST)
