Lectures, Workshops and Projects
Here we call to you not only to participate in but to give a lecture, organize a workshop and work on your project. In return we offer lots of bright people who are eager and knowledgeable to discuss with you.
If you can tell us something about new or widely unknown technology we want to know about it. If you are using some kind of technology in a way different from what it was meant for we want to know about it.
But we are not only interested in technology and science for its own sake. As technologies like the www and cell phones by now are part of everybody's life (especially in so-called developing countries) we are equally interested in its social implications, be it through digitally opening governments with leaking and (micro-)blogging or the collection data through big corporations.
In general, lectures, workshops, and projects dealing with technology, ethics, science, security, art, philosophy, politics, culture and cooking are welcome. And a special theme of this year's camp is our planned Hacker Space Program.
Villages
You can also organize a tent village with your friends and present your favorite projects. Last time there were villages organized around projects / topics like the GSM village, the Audio Village, the Flying Objects Village, and villages of hackers who traveled together from one region, nation or network segment. But you don't need to stop here: Maybe you want to tackle that big reverse-engineering project or write the great software you always dreamed of?
Participate
In any case don't forget that you can add to the camp in lots of other ways as well. So bring those gadgets, Go boards, webapps, p2p-simulators, knitted hardware protectors, drones, and lockpicking sets and expect people to come to you wanting to learn more.
