Some people, who were unhappy with the german "Freiheit statt Angst" demonstrations in Berlin as they had experienced those in the last two years started this initiative to enter the european capital and to find new forms of protests and meetings beyond german borders:
- Freedom not fear 2011 in Brussels
- We say NO to data retention and PNR and we call for immediate measures and regulation of net neutrality.
We are planning a whole weekend of 3 days:
- a day of protest on saturday
- a day of meeting and workshops (barcamp) on sunday
- a day of discussion with people from parliament and commission on monday
We are caring for:
- some places to sleep
- rooms to meet, work and live in
- announcing the protest to the police
- the organisational framework
You are bringing in:
- all the topics, you are concerned of
- all of your ideas to enrich the weekend and to have a cheery and snugly time together
Meeting:
- day 3, 10 pm, HX²
- or anytime at our village Freedom-not-fear
Everybody is welcome to be part of our idea of a weekend of Brussels experience, being designed by those, who are joining it.
