hey there.
my wife is missing her sunglasses. she put them on one chair while preparing and teaching. now they are gone. we were already back at the foodhacking tent but we did not found them. if anyone of you maybe have some hints, put the sunglasses elsewhere or accidently put in your bag please come to the c-base village and contact rasda or vjam.

Ingredients
2kg beef
salt
oil (from sunflower)
300g chili
200g indonesian shallot
1 lime
10 lime leaves
4-6 tomatoes
Preparation
Beef
Remove all fat
Cut the beef in thin slices, mix it with salt and let it simmer for 20 minutes
fry it on middle heat for about 5 minutes
take it out of the pan
tenderize it using mortar and pestle (we are going to use Indonesian mortar and pestle)
fry it for the second time for about 3 minutes
take it out of the pan
Chili Sauce
Roughly ground the Chili and shallot into paste using mortar and pestle
Roughly cut the tomatoes
Fry it in the rest of oil that you have used for frying the meat
Add lime leaves to the pan
Keep frying
Add tomatoes
Keep frying
Add salt and lime juice
Let it simmer until the sauce is done
Add the fried slices of meat into the sauce
Mix the meat and the sauce and let it simmer for about 5 minutes
Serving
The meat will be served with rice cooked in the rice cooker
Equipment needed
Cutting board and knives
Mortar and pestle in germany you can buy here
a big pan (maybe two)
Rice cooker (or big pot)
