Can you guys remember the 26c3 talk from WikiLeaks? So can we, and we hope you still have your really important token!

Our aim is to create a platform where supporters of WikiLeaks and possibly other leaking platforms could use to hand out tasks or find other like minded people to start projects. And to organize it in such a way that projects take shape and get accomplished.

Several of us saw a need to do things better, take the diarydig interface, it's absolutely terrible to navigate, it relies on solr which is written in java to lookup fulltext searches, and since the material about the Aghan War Diary is not fully researched at all, only a small amount got researched of the Afghan War Diary.

So what if we could create a platform where people could ask for help to work on projects like this to extend the code which is already opensource. People who will fulfill the task get karmapoints, which could be traded in for things I still need to come up with. Or work together on researching material from WikiLeaks which is still not researched indepth, take the US Rules of Engagement for Iraq or many cables.

It would be WikiLeaks Crowdsource 1.0!

The system will be opensource ofcourse, we are looking for designers, coders who have an indepth knowledge of PHP/MYSQL(Postgresql)

We are still looking for more participants and tables to work on, hint ;-)
