An Inquiry Into Tape Loops and the Nature of the Loop!
In this workshop, you will learn how to make your own cassette tape loops and some basics about tape players in general, as well as the cultural importance of the loop itself and how recordings became instruments.
What to bring (if you can):
A cassette with screws
Clear packing tape
A screwdriver
Scissors
A cassette player (4-track for a better experience)
Optional:
Mat board
A ruler
A rubber washer
A razor or craft knife
Double-sided tape
