I can‘t control myself contains both the fantasy and fear of the loss of self control. The hands of the artist sepa- rate from the rest of his body and act autonomously. The reaction is not clear. Is it arousal or unease? While the video might seem like a complete illusion at first, this falls apart at a second glance when you start to see the broken lines and sharp cuts that indicate the process of cutting and pasting the hands frame by frame. This ambivalence is a consequence of concerning oneself with ones body and sexuality as a man. What makes my body? And what does my body do?
