Trying to find bad players (criminals, governments, etc) in the Internet increasingly requires the collection, storage and analysis of large quantities of data. Mostly, this is done with available telemetry that can be obtained from public sources, but the collection can be tricky, the storage requires strategies for handling terabytes of data and the analysis is often fraught with issues like data quality and inconsistencies.
In this short birds-of-a-feather meeting, we want to bring together people who deal with these issues academically and professionally to discuss pain points and how to deal with them.
