What is shownot.es?
shownot.es is a collaborative platform used to write show notes for podcasts. Volunteers (show noter) listen to shows together and write notes, collect links or search for further information.
What are show notes?
Show notes are meta data for podcasts. They don't contain the podcast itself but all descriptive information which is generally tagged with a time stamp. Thereby the content of a pure audio file becomes searchable.

shownot.es ist eine kollaborative Plattform, auf der Sendungsnotizen (engl. show notes) für Podcasts verfasst werden. Freiwillige Helfer (Shownoter) hören sich gemeinsam Sendungen an und schreiben Stichpunkte mit, sammeln Links oder suchen weitere Informationen.
Was sind Sendungsnotizen?
Sendungsnotizen sind Metadaten von Podcasts. Sie enthalten nicht den Podcast selbst, aber beschreibende Informationen, die in der Regel mit einer Zeitangabe versehen sind. Dadurch werden die Inhalte von reinen Audioformaten durchsuchbar.
