Yochanan Rauert

Description Interactive video installation: traceland is supposed to illustrate the “everyday-traces“ of personal data, left behind by people using their online devices, credit cards etc. Via Microsoft Kinect motion tracking the movement of users (within the designated tracking area) is digitally analysed and processed in a c++ app. The illustrative result of the processing is being projected on a wall in real time. Jus lika digital mirror the projection shows body contours of the people passing by filled with meta and personal data from our database simulation.
