Ends at 2014/12/28 01:30
Duration 30 minutes
Location

Let's have fun with Nerf guns! We will battle for 30', after that we'll take another 10' to collect foam darts.

Location: we'll meet at Foyer Saal 2 (2.OG), on the Map around the space marked with "Funker".

Basic Rules

We would like the people to have fun so basically there will be no baisc rules. Therefore we would like to ask you to act as thoughtful as possible.

Acting thoughtful means:

  1. do not shoot uninvolved people
  2. never target heads
  3. keep appropriate distance
  4. use only standard gear (no modded darts, no slingshots, …)
  5. stop immediately if someone calls a break
  6. help people who need help
  7. use goggles! (see below)

Required Hardware

Everyone is supposed to organize a weapon by him*herself. We will not provide you weapons or goggles nor will we be able to equip you with ammunition. Search the internet to find out where to buy Nerf-Guns and appropriate ammunition or ask folks taking part if they will share their weapons.

If you own more than one Nerf-Gun bring them around an share with others!

Be prepared for losing a good part of your ammunition. However, we will search for foam darts afterwards; because we don't want to create extra work for the cleaning crew.

Goggles

It is strongly recommended to wear something to protect your eyes. Laboratory glasses or sports glasses (like the ones used by floorball players) work well.

FAQ

What is a Nerf-Gun?

A Nerf Blaster is a toy gun made by Hasbro that fires foam darts, discs, or, in some cases, foam balls. The term "Nerf gun" is often used to describe the toy however, it is often used as a blanket term for any foam dart blaster, regardless of whether or not it has the Nerf brand name. Nerf blasters are manufactured in multiple forms, including pistols, rifles, and light machine guns. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nerf_gun)

Isn't gun-fighting militaristic?

Bitch, it might be! Anyway. We see this battle as a game. Luckily most of as where never forced to use guns. For us shooting foam darts seems not to be more or less militaristic then a snowball fight.
