Das Ziel ist eine endnutzerInnentaugliche Einstellung für den Browser Firefox, um dessen Datenspur zu reduzieren. Zur Anwendung kommen die Standardeinstellungen, kleine Änderungen in der about:config und ein paar Add-Ons. Zielgruppe sind interessierte Alltagsnutzer, es sind keine besonderen IT-Kenntnisse notwendig. Das Ergebnis der Arbeit ist ein Leitfaden zur praktischen Anwendung, mit Erläuterungen.
The objective is a setup for the browser Firefox to reduce the datatrace during browsing, applicable for end-users. Measures are the standard setup, small changes in the about:config and a few add-ons. The target group are interested everyday-users, no special IT knowledge is necessary. The result shall be guidelines for practical use, with explanations.
