The “Chaostreff Dortmund” is a hackerspace run by friendly people from Dortmund and the cities around. We are located north of the city centre of Dortmund, a rather large town at the east of the “Ruhrgebiet” in Germany.

In regular and not-so-regular meetings we discuss the best way to gather World Domination, but most of the time we are talking about technology, science and society, and building related projects like microcontroller-powered things, geeky software and all kinds of other funny or useful things that come to our minds.

We are always excited to meet new people who are just like us – or maybe very different, which does not matter – so please feel free to join us, for a talk, a cold Club Mate (!) or just to say “Hi!”. You also might visit #ctdo on hackint to check if a talk or workshop really takes place (please just ask in the channel if the channel topic doesn’t help).

Can’t join us on location? No problem: most of us hang out in IRC #ctdo on hackint, and we also have an old-fashioned mailinglist. Oh, and you can read about our great projects and some of the planning fails on our wiki.
