From state IDs to Web of Trust based identity
Personaly I definitely stopped using money in May 2009 and state IDs in June 2009. I work on alternative economies and focus on variants without any currencies, 'Gift Econimies', 'Peer Economies', 'Reputation Economies' etc. All of them and newly emerging independent currencies will still need a way to manage one owns identity. I would like to focus on creating Web of Trust based alternatives to current authoritarian identity systems depending on existence of states.
